Season Grass Planting
WLRM is prepared to help establish warm season grass
plantings to benefit many species of wildlife.
These unique plots of grasses and forbs require specialized equipment and
skills to assure success. Once
established, these plots require periodic maintenance through mowing, disking or
burning, services we also provide. Cost
sharing for warm season grass planting and maintenance may be available through
CRP, CREP, WRP, WREP, WHIP, EQIP and some conservation organizations.
